November brimbles sticker club crafts ITS CHRISTMAS!!

The  November brimbles sticker club kit this month is so full of Christmas spirit and I just couldn't wait to get into it.

I did an unboxing of It on my channel if you wanted to take a look. 

Theres one Christmas craft I really wanted to try, and that was make a paper Christmas wreath.

I used various papers from some Christmas paper pads I had in my stash.

I made a lot of paper rosettes I have a how to video on how I make these, and then glued then onto a cardboard ring I had cut out. 

I then stuck some of the decorative stickers from the kit onto some plain white card stock and fussy cut them out, I did this so they would sit nicely on top of the rosettes. 

I then used some of  more functional stickers that came in the kit to help me in my Christmas planner , before I did this I did do a flick through video of how I set it up each year if your interested. I used them and the Washi strips from the Washi sheet to create two new pages In my Christmas planner.

the first one is a xmas crafts page, I really want to do some Christmas crafts with the kids on the weekends leading up to Christmas.

on the left is a space for me to write down all the supplies I need to buy for each craft. then on the right a space to either write or sticker pictures of what we want to make.

Then the next page I made was this one that is me keeping track of the flat Christmas decorating.

and space to write or stick in some ideas of how id live to decorate the flat for Christmas.

I then did a page in my art journal and I just went crazy and did what I felt like. I love just letting go in here and creating.

Autumns here !!

well I can not tell you how excited I am that autumn is here, I love this time of year leading up to Christmas .. yes I typed the C word lol 

I was inspired to do this age in my creative journal, this is a photo of my daughter Mia. We had some to one of my best friends Clare and husbands house warming BBQ. Mia loved it and she was soon dancing round the garden like a loony.

I stuck the photo closer to the bottom and used some of the stickers from the decorative sheet to embellish. 
I loved that one of the frames on the sheet had September pn it so I could use it on this page as this event Was in September. I really loved how this page came out and I think the colours really capture the feeling of autumn.

Cherish the memories ( September brimbles sticker club)

So when it comes to creating, weather it be scrapbooking, art journaling , creative journaling , smashbooking or any other form of memory keeping i thought it had to be big life events or happy memories.

When i see this months brimbles sticker club kit i felt inspired to create a page in my creative journal.

i recently got married, and it was the best day of my life. However i knew it would make me really miss my granddads. Sadly 5 years ago i lost both of my granddads within a month of each-other. it was one of the hardest times in my life, and adding to that i had a baby to try and take care off it was really trying times.

This page was dedicated to one of my late grandfathers Anthony ( tony) this photo was of him meeting my daughter Mia for the first time. As soon as i got her out of her pushchair he was up and standing here next to me. Singing to her and chatting to her making her giggle. He told me about how he would sing the same songs to me as a baby. 

Whilst i was creating this page, i couldn't help but be moved by all the memories that came flooding back, memories that id forgotten about and felt so blessed to have them all coming back to me.

Although it was emotional creating this page, its defiantly my favorite. So although its amazing to be able to capture and savor all the happy memories make sure you create pages that can help you remember the memories that may other wise have been forgotten.

August Brimbles Sticker Club

I really loved the August Sticker club kit this month. I did an unboxing of the kit on my channel .  i really loved the pastel colours of the flowers i knew i wanted to use them in my journal.

This Page is about my last therapy session, id finally gotten signed off from therapy and wanted to document it, i used one of the stickers from the decorative sheet that looked like a paint streak, and then used some of the numbers from the alphabet sheet to put in the date of the last session. 

I also loved using the letter stickers on my scrapbook pages. 

I also used one of the cat stickers as an embellishment for this page.

July Brimbles Sticker Subscription // Flash card craft

When i unboxed the July Brimbles Sticker subscription from Mrs Brimbles Shop i loved how fun and bright it was.

one of the sheets that came with month was a decorative sheet. when i see that sheet i instantly thought it would be great to help my daughter Mia who is 5 to make some flash cards for herself to help her with her writing and spelling. 

First she picked which sticker she wanted to use.













she then stuck the sticker on one of the pieces of white card stock i had already cut to size for her. She loved that there was multiples of some of the fruits in different sizes, she had alot of fun explaining which ones she thought where the 'mummy' ones and which ones she thought where the 'baby' ones.

 

Once she had done that she then wrote down what fruit she thought it was and how she thought it was spelt.

i really love how these come out. it was a really fun activity for her and for me and a great bonding activity.

December Brimbles box

So December box is here ..... finally ..... Pain in the bum royal mail !!

I will most probably say this about every box but i love it!! i did an unboxing video opening it all up if you wanted to check that out.i love all the colours in it and the different tones of blues and greens obviously with Anna's art work throughout which is the best part about it.

every month there is some 12"12 card stock and this month i decided with some of that card stock i would make a new pocket book that i have been enjoying making this last month. I did a how to video on how i make these on my channel.

 

I love how this tuned out and i still have so much to use. As i said in the unboxing video for this box in the new year i will be starting to scrapbook in a 12"12 album so the other papers from the kit will be saved ready to scrapbook and i will blog about them as and when they are done.

I also love the key-ring that came in the box so much as soon as i finished filming the unboxing video it went straight on my purse.

Christmas bauble baubles xmas craft

So the November Brimbles box has landed and there was three beautiful 12"12 papers in it.

i felt so inspired with these papers and everything that was in the box and even in the video of me unboxing it i was reeling of all the possibilities.

the first thing i thought about making was these :

They are Christmas bauble baubles !!

obviously i really got into the Christmas spirit once i opened this box.

first i chose the paper i wanted to use which is this one from this months brimbles box , and got these supplies ready. you may notice i had to change the size of brad i was using.

then i cut the sheet in half trying not to decapitate any Santa or reindeer.
then i measured out strips going down at 1/2 an inch wide going all the way across, then cut them out making sure i kept then in order.

i then hole punched the tops and bottoms of each strip.

Then added a brad to either end through all the layers.

then its just a case of folding it out.

Really easy and so much fun i managed to get two out of one sheet of 12"12 paper.

Lollipop Box October 2016

So the amazing October Lollipop Box came today, and to say i was blown away with it would be an understatement.

I opened it all on camera for my YouTube channel which you can find here.

This Box is Kit 17 and is called Pumpkin Spiced Latte Party.

You can see from the items in the kit the theme is carried right through.

this blog post would be amazingly long if i went through each item but some of my favorites are this



which is a beautiful paper clip the felt part is made by the very talented andies accessories and they are then turned into paper clips by Lisa.

then theres this which i am so in love with it was in a bag which said trick or treat on.


its a cure mirror which is totally unexpected but i love it so much.

A Lollipop box Would not be a lollipop box ith out the lollipop and i can safely say ( as ive just devoured it) it was delicious.



All in all there are some amazing bits in this box and i love this box each month it comes. Lisa outdoes herself each month every time and i cant praise it enough. Role on November !!

Washi tape craft

So the lovely Anna brimbles from the mrs brimbles Facebook group set us all a challenge to use washitape in a different way. Apart from decorating planner pages so I remembered seeing this craft on Facebook once and I remembered it so here goes.

First you need to cut corners of of scrap envelopes. 

Then you need to pick some of your favourite washi tape.

Then you need to lay your washi tape across the corner makeing sure you don't covert the opening.

Then flip or over and do the same on the other side and then cut off the excess and that's it.

So simple but come in handy.

Traveling post

Well I joined a Facebook group run by the very lovely daisy @ my green cow on YouTube and she set up an amazing group where people send traveling notebooks and post cards to each other. People's creations get to travel around the world which is amazing.
Daisy had been sent a notebook from the lovely sasha and asked if I'd like to be next. Obviously I agreed and you can see below what I created. I felt a little concerned being after daisy as she's such a natural at this creative stuff lol but I have it my best go and now it's off to another lovely lady to add to it.

what can i say its been a while in the time ive been gone ive moved house me and Steven have finally set a date for the long overdue wedding and ive discovered a new passion.


planning has always been a part of my life but ive only really ever had pound-shop diaries and just tryed my best to make them work for me, but would always get a few weeks in and give up.

then i watched a video on YouTube about an Erin condren planner, and i feel in love. then i see some sticker hauls about etsy stores and ts true what people say it really is like falling down a rabbit hole.

then someone on one of the Facebook planner groups suggested a planner box called Mrs Brimbles and as soon as became apart of that group i felt so at home. they encouraged me to upload my first youtube video and well its kind of snowballed from there. please stayed tuned to see more planner related stuff :)
